We are now accepting film submissions for Wallabout 2015!

Filmmaker must be a student. As a student organization, Wallabout’s goal is to promote student films. High school, undergraduate and graduate works are all eligible for consideration. Recent graduates (within one year) are encouraged to submit as well.

Submissions made electronically must be .mov files or links to .mov files. If physically mailing a submission instead, please send either a Region 1 DVD (playable in the US) or a .mov file (preferred). Note: If your film is selected to screen, Wallabout must have access to a .mov file of your film in order to project it properly.

Film must be completed after January 2014.

Films much longer than 15 minutes are discouraged. We have limited space and want to showcase a broad range of work by as many filmmakers as possible.

Foreign films are highly encouraged. If your film is not in English, it must have English subtitles and be submitted in NTSC format.

Filmmakers may submit multiple films, but each entry should be submitted separately, with its own entry form.

Wallabout is open to all genres, themes, and categories.

Deadline for Submission: March 15, 2015

Submission to Wallabout is FREE! Spend your money making films.

We highly encourage entrants to submit electronically – just complete the form below. Alternately, you can download a PDF here, and return the completed form with a link to your film by email to:

If mailing in your submission rather than submitting electronically, you must make sure it will physically reach us on or within 1-2 days of March 15. In the past, several international submissions arrived well into April and even May, and were obviously not able to be considered.

The address for mailed entries is:

Wallabout Programming Committee
℅ Professor Basil Tsiokos
Dekalb Hall, 2nd Fl
Pratt Institute
200 Willoughby Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11205

Entrants will be notified of selection status via email by early April. Please be sure to notify us if your email address changes.

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide feedback or to return any submitted DVDs or materials.
